Ritz Bed Frame
The Ritz bed frame turns a bedroom into a five-star retreat — without the five-star price tag.
If you want a bed that commands attention the moment you walk into the room, The Ritz delivers exactly that. With its tall, geometric headboard, bold gold-trim panelling, and deep charcoal upholstery, this statement piece works equally well in a main bedroom or a luxury guest room. At Knightsbridge Bedding, we designed The Ritz for buyers who refuse to settle for ordinary.
The Ritz is built around a tall, structured headboard with a distinctive multi-panel geometric layout. Vertical gold-toned trim strips run the full height of the headboard, creating a striking Art Deco-inspired silhouette.
Key design details include:
1. Tall, floor-to-ceiling-style headboard with geometric panel sections
2. Gold vertical trim accents running from base to crown of the headboard
3. Deep charcoal grey upholstery — richly toned and consistent across the full frame
4. Matching low-profile footboard with the same gold-trim panel detailing
5. Hexagonal or diamond-stitched panel sections across both headboard and footboard
6. Solid, wide side rails that give the bed a grounded, substantial look
The overall silhouette is bold yet balanced — theatrical without being overdone.
The Ritz is upholstered in a soft-to-the-touch, deeply pigmented charcoal grey fabric. The contrast between the dark upholstery and the warm gold trim is intentional — it creates a high-end hotel look that feels bespoke.

The Ritz is available in all standard sizes in the UK to suit a range of bedroom layouts:
| Size | Mattress Fit |
|---|---|
| Double | 4ft 6in (135 x 190 cm) |
| King Size | 5ft (150 x 200 cm) |
| Super King | 6ft (180 x 200 cm) |
Not sure which size fits your room? A King Size works well in most master bedrooms. Go Super King if you have the floor space — The Ritz truly shines with room to breathe around it.
1. Instantly elevates any bedroom with a hotel-grade aesthetic
2. Bold enough to be the focal point of the room — no extra décor needed
3. Consistent design language across headboard, footboard, and rails
4. Available in multiple sizes to suit your space
5. Sold directly by Knightsbridge Bedding — no intermediary, better value
The upholstered fabric should be spot-cleaned with a damp cloth and mild detergent. Avoid soaking or steam cleaning. The gold trim can be wiped down with a slightly damp cloth or dry to maintain its finish. Regular vacuuming, but light, with a soft brush attachment, keeps the fabric panels looking fresh.
The Ritz comes in Double (4ft 6in), King Size (5ft), and Super King (6ft). All sizes maintain the same full headboard height and panel design. Choose based on your mattress size and room dimensions.
Yes, The Ritz arrives flat-packed and requires home assembly. All fixings and instructions are included. Most customers complete assembly within 45–60 minutes with two people.
The Double and King Size versions fit well in standard UK master bedrooms. We recommend measuring the wall width before ordering, as the tall headboard has the greatest impact on a full-width wall.
The Ritz suits all standard mattress types — memory foam, pocket sprung, hybrid, and orthopaedic. The frame is built to support a standard UK mattress depth of up to 30cm.
